In our spring newsletter we start with the 7th annual Swire Ridgeway Arts Prize Exhibition which was a great success – great art exemplified by record sales and attendances. We look at the winners – and the visitors. The Ridgeway is a challenge in another respect: getting from one end to the other within 24 hours. We call upon the fit and determined to take part in the Race to the Stones and to raise money to improve the Ridgeway experience. Three of those who were successful describe their personal experiences, all different. People enjoy the Ridgeway in many ways: we look at some of them. And not forgetting John Betjeman’s teddy bear.
