This is a big year for the Ridgeway National Trail – it’s 50th. We report on the launch of the anniversary, led by its Patron Mary-Ann Ochota at the Sanctuary, Avebury, and on the start of our #RidgewaySpotter activity that you can join in to give added interest to your next visits to the Trail. We look ahead to the 7th Swire Ridgeway Arts Prize, inviting submissions, which will be exhibited on 22 and 23 April. FoR member Janice Bridger describes horse riding along the Ridgeway, and we look at where the Volunteers will be active in the next three months, improving the Trail. Money doesn’t grow on trees; we see what funds the Ridgeway Officer raised in 2022, and at the donations made by Friends of the Ridgeway.
